Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what discussions she has had with representatives of the Disaster Emergency Committee on ensuring equal access to its support by all people in need of its services.

The Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) is committed to getting the right aid to the right people as quickly as possible, listening to communities on the ground about what they need. All members of the DEC make a commitment to apply humanitarian standards which place communities and people affected by crisis at the centre of the humanitarian response.
