Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, when he plans to publish the Strategy and Policy Statement for Ofgem; and if he will commit to undertaking extensive engagement with representatives of the UK energy industry on the development of that statement.

The Government plans to publish the Strategy and Policy Statement for Ofgem later this year. In developing the Statement, the Government will engage with stakeholders in the UK energy industry and launch a public consultation.
