Information on abortion waiting times is not collected centrally.

The Department is aware of some issues around women with complex needs accessing abortion care. We are working with NHS England and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to improve abortion services for women with health co-morbidities – ensuring that National Health Service hospitals can expand their capacity and that staff have the right skills to provide appropriate care for these complex cases.
