Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what steps he is taking to ensure that colleges advertise in a way which is consistent with his Department;s most recent guidance on the early years workforce, specifically that level 3 learners no longer need GCSE passes in English and Maths in order to work in early years settings.

As has been previously stated, the department has written to the Association of Colleges to ask them to remind their members of the change in English and mathematics requirements for entry to level 3 early years job roles made in April 2017.
