Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what the process is for updating NICE guidelines on transcatheter aortic valve implantation.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence’s (NICE) interventional procedures guidance on transcatheter aortic valve implantation for aortic stenosis was published in July 2017. NICE will review its guidance if new evidence or safety concerns arise.
