Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what discussions he has had with the Committee on Climate Change on re-targeting the Renewable Heat Incentive towards lower carbon forms of heating.

BEIS ministers and officials are in regular contact with the Committee on Climate Change on a range of issues including the contribution of low carbon heat from the Renewable Heat Incentive towards the UK’s carbon budgets.
