The Clean Growth Strategy set out the Government’s new direction on carbon capture, usage and storage (CCUS). This included a commitment to review the delivery and investment frameworks for CCUS. This is now underway and a report examining the business models for transporting and storing carbon dioxide was published in January 2018[1].

Further to this, the CCUS Cost Challenge Taskforce, established in February 2018 and comprising over forty industry representatives, will also consider possible business models for CCUS. The Taskforce will deliver their report by summer 2018.
