Public Health England’s 2014 report ‘Estimating local mortality burdens associated with particulate air pollution’ estimated the mortality burden in 2010 associated with long-term exposure to human-made particulate air pollution at local authority level, expressed in terms of attributable deaths and associated loss of life. The Public Health Outcomes Framework will release updated data in May 2018, including the indicator 3.01 Fraction of mortality attributable to particulate air pollution.
