Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how much funding for stem cell research was allocated by the National Institute for Health Research and Blood and Transplant Research Unit in each of the last three years.

The National Institute for Health Research expenditure on stem cell research is estimated as follows: £4,867,111 in 2014/15, £6,901,271 in 2015/16, and £7,817,643 in 2016/17.
