Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the answer of 27 April 2026, to Question HL16644, on Local Government: Sanctions, if he will make it is his policy to use his Best Value intervention powers against local authorities which have adopted boycott, divestment and sanctions policies which are (a) unlawful and/or (b) damaging to community cohesion and integration.

I refer the Rt Hon. Member to the answer given to Question UIN 8085 on 16 June 2026.
