Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 21 February 2022 to Question 120779, on PPE Medpro, whether his Department does (a) not hold a record of a financial assessment of PPE Medpro incorporating a traffic-light rating or (b) hold that record but is unable to disclose the traffic-light rating because it may prejudice the commercial interests of that company to do so.

The Department does hold a record that includes a financial assessment of PPE Medpro prior to the contract award. However, we are unable to provide the information requested as the Department is involved in a mediation process which includes confidentiality undertakings and is commercially sensitive.
