Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether his Department has made an assessment of the effect of socio-economic background on the uptake of arts subjects at GCSE level.

The number of entries into arts subjects, by disadvantaged and all other pupils, at the end of key stage 4 is provided in the attached document.
