Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of the adequacy of the supply of Levomepromazine.

The Department fully understands that maintaining access to levomepromazine is vitally important to many people in this country.

The Department has well established processes to manage and mitigate supply problems that may arise at any one time.

We are aware that one of the suppliers of levomepromazine injection is experiencing a short-term issue. However, supplies from an alternative supplier remain available in sufficient quantities to meet demand.

Levomepromazine tablets are currently available and we are not aware of any issues that will impact supply.
