Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the comments of the Minister for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency published in the Sun on 8 February 2022, what assessment he has made of the compatibility of those comments with the Cabinet Office consultation principles.

I have asked members of the British public to raise ideas for regulatory reform directly to the Government. These proposals will be considered by the Government, and those taken forward will be done so by the relevant department, in line with the government Consultation Principles.
