Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, for what reasons his Department's impact assessment on the Draft Domestic Gas and Electricity (Tariff Cap) Bill does not include an explanation for why it believes that Ofgem will be able to achieve an acceptable trade-off between the different criteria for setting the cap.

Ofgem will consult on the methodology for setting the cap, including how it can best achieve an acceptable trade-off between the different criteria for setting the cap.
