Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:
To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what recent discussions she has had with the Secretary of State for Defence on the potential national security risks of the AQUIND Interconnector Project.
This question was answered on 2nd February 2024
The Secretary of State has not had any discussions with the Secretary of State for Defence about this project. However, the Ministry of Defence can make representations to the Department via the planning process which will be handled in accordance with their security classification.
