Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of the effect of delays in the modernisation of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on the mortality rate.
This question was answered on 15th March 2022
No assessment has been made. NHS England and NHS Improvement are expecting the Strategic Outline Case to be resubmitted by the Trust in the first quarter of 2022. The Department will consider it once received.
