To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, how many social rent homes were built (a) in the last 12 months and (b) in 2021.

The number of new affordable housing delivered in England, including acquisitions, by local authorities can be found through the affordable housing supply open data, available through the same link.

Data are collected and published by financial year, with the latest available data covering 2021-22.
