Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what discussions the UK Ambassador to Yemen has had with the officials of the former President Saleh of Yemen since the President's death on 4 December 2017.

​The Ambassador has remained in contact with senior members of the General People's Congress (GPC). Discussion has focused on the breakdown of the alliance between the Houthis and the GPC. The Foreign Secretary has publicly called for restraint.
