The Secretary of State meets cabinet colleagues regularly to discuss numerous topics, including our exit from the European Union. The future of EU nationals is a top priority in the Brexit negotiations and we want their valued contribution to the National Health Service to continue.

The Secretary of State has made it clear that after the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU, we will have an immigration system that means the NHS and social care system are able to get the number of people they need, not just from the EU, but from all over the world.
