The Secretary of State for Transport has had no recent discussions with stakeholders on the redevelopment of Oxford Station.

New platforms have been added at Oxford station to accommodate new Chiltern Railways services between Oxford and London Marylebone via High Wycombe.

The Department continues to work with the station promoters including Oxfordshire County Council, Oxford City Council, Great Western Railway and Network Rail, as the plans for the redevelopment of Oxford Station and the surrounding area are developed.
