The UK has committed £26.5 million in total to respond to recent flooding. Recognising the impact that the floods are having on vector-borne diseases, UK assistance is targeting sectors that will mitigate and reduce transmission - shelter, water and sanitation, health and nutrition. Emerging health risks in Pakistan are being routinely monitored and the UK will continue to work with the Government of Pakistan and international partners to support Pakistan's recovery.
