Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what representations he has made to the Government of Bahrain on the trial and sentencing of Mansoor Hassan, Sayed Nizar Alwadei and Mahmood Marzooq.

​These cases have been raised at a senior level with the Government of Bahrain. We understand there is now a right of appeal through the Bahraini judicial system. The UK will continue to closely monitor proceedings.
