Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, pursuant to the Answer of 23 October 2017 to Question 108327, on fracking: Ryedale, if he will make it his policy to make a draft preferred decision with reasons public at least 10 working days before formally responding to the application for hydraulic fracturing consent for the KM8 wellsite in Ryedale, North Yorkshire; and if he will make a statement.

The Department plans to publish its response to the application for hydraulic fracturing consent for the KM8 wellsite in Ryedale, once the decision has been made.
