Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what steps her Department is taking to ensure that electronic programme guide providers comply with their duties to provide prominence for public service channels.

Under the Digital Economy Act 2017, Ofcom are required to publish a report on PSB prominence which looks at the ease of finding and accessing PSB content across all television platforms on both a linear and on-demand basis. The first report must be published before 1 December 2020 and Ofcom’s code on the Electronic Programme Guide must also be reviewed by this date.
