Legislation already requires scheme providers and trustees to provide information to members both on request and, in Defined Contribution schemes, at least annually.

In addition legislation requires those with defined contribution savings to receive information in advance of retirement, which will also signpost members to the government’s Pension Wise service with whom members can discuss their pension options.
