(Estimated Final Signatures: 19,634 - 136 added in the past 24hrs)

Fund training for all healthcare providers on spotting and dealing with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) as well as facilities where people with this condition can access the correct form of healthcare as I believe this is seriously lacking.

The Government responsed to this petition on 24th April 2025 (View Full Response)
Improving health outcomes for people who live with long-term conditions, including postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS), is a key part of the Government's ambition to build an NHS fit for the future.

Apply for the UK to rejoin the EU fully - do not just 'reset' the relationship - 12,919 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 19,250 - 68 added in the past 24hrs)

I think the UK needs to rejoin the EU fully for maximum economic benefit and to restore influence rather than merely 'reset' relations.

The Government responsed to this petition on 10th July 2025 (View Full Response)
Britain will stay outside the EU, but we must make Brexit work. In May, the Government announced a new strategic partnership with the EU which will deliver economic and security benefits for the UK.

Allow families with SEN children 10 days term-time holiday without being fined - 18,232 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 18,617 - 25 added in the past 24hrs)

We believe SEN children are already excluded from society and education. Many children with disabilities or SEN can find it hard to deal with crowds, noise and the general hustle and bustle of travelling in peak times. Yet, these families are penalised for removing children from school for holidays.

The Government responsed to this petition on 8th July 2025 (View Full Response)
All children, including children with SEND, have a right to a full-time education. We are determined to break down barriers to opportunity by supporting every child to achieve and thrive at school.
Open Petition since 7th May 2025

To pass a law allowing UK Military Veterans who left the forces prior to 1987 to claim compensation for damage to their hearing suffered as a result of their Military Service to this country.

Provide day 1 financial support to parents caring for a seriously ill child - 17,039 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 17,055 - 1 added in the past 24hrs)

We are calling on the government to implement Hugh's law. We want the government to provide financial support to parents who have to press pause on their life to look after their sick child, from the day their child is diagnosed.

The Government responsed to this petition on 24th February 2025 (View Full Response)
We recognise the difficulties faced by parents of ill children and a range of financial support is available. The government has no plans to introduce a day 1 non-means tested grant.

Make the Tour de France a Category A event to ensure it remains free-to-air in the UK.

The Government responsed to this petition on 24th April 2025 (View Full Response)
The current list of events strikes the right balance between encouraging access to a number of sporting events and maximising broadcasting income. There are no plans to review the list at this time.

Impose a lifetime ban on animal ownership for anyone convicted of animal cruelty - 15,818 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 15,973 - 21 added in the past 24hrs)

The government should impose a lifetime ban on animal ownership for anyone who causes deliberate suffering to animals. Under current laws, courts can impose bans but these may be short-term, allowing offenders to own animals again after a short period.

The Government responsed to this petition on 12th May 2025 (View Full Response)
Under the Animal Welfare Act, courts may impose animal ownership bans of varying durations on offenders. We consider it is appropriate for courts to determine such decisions on a case-by-case basis.

(Estimated Final Signatures: 15,402 - 8 added in the past 24hrs)

Introduce a moratorium on new waste incinerators like in Scotland and Wales, and ban new permits and require existing permits to be revoked where substantial construction has not begun.

The Government responsed to this petition on 14th May 2025 (View Full Response)
Government will only back waste incineration projects that meet strict conditions. New facilities will have to maximise efficiency, and support net zero and the move to a circular economy.

Ban wind farms on protected peat land in England - 15,142 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 15,222 - 7 added in the past 24hrs)

In its recent consultation on new onshore wind planning regulations, the government asked if some habitats, such as those containing peat soils, need extra protection from renewable energy development. We say YES! As did 90% of respondents to this question.

The Government responsed to this petition on 10th June 2025 (View Full Response)
We will not ban windfarms on peatland in England. Protections in the planning system and best practice guidance ensure development on peatland is carefully considered, mitigated, and compensated.

Pay pensioners the equivalent of the living wage of a 35 hour week. - 14,739 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 14,798 - 8 added in the past 24hrs)

The full rate of the new state pension is currently £11,502.40 a year, while the annual income derived from the living wage for a 35-hour week will from April be above £22,000. We think there is a distressing discrepancy between these two figures.

The Government responsed to this petition on 11th June 2025 (View Full Response)
The Government has no plans to pay pensioners the equivalent of the living wage of a 35-hour week. Support for pensioners is available via the State Pension and a suite of other benefits.
