Question to the Wales Office:
What recent discussions he has had with the First Minister of Wales on levels of covid-19 in Wales.
Answered by Simon Hart - Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury (Chief Whip)
We are supporting the Welsh Government as they manage localised lockdowns in Wales, including the current lockdown in the honourable Member’s constituency of Caerphilly.
We are working more closely than ever before with the Welsh Government. We are meeting regularly to ensure a consistent response in tackling the outbreak, including meetings last week between the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, the First Minister and myself.

Question to the Wales Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, what recent assessment he has made of the potential effect on the Welsh economy of the UK leaving the EU.
Answered by Alun Cairns
The Welsh economy approaches its departure from the EU in a very strong position. Since 2010, Wales has been the fastest growing part of the UK outside London and exports to countries outside the EU have increased by £400 million.
Last week my Rt hon Friend the Prime Minister set out this Government’s plan to build a stronger, fairer, more global Britain. I am confident that Wales will grasp the opportunities presented and play its role as part of a stronger United Kingdom.
