The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (Vince Cable)
During Wednesday’s Opposition day debate, on the work of my Department, I said—column 873—that private sector business investment is 3.73% up on last year’s performance. In fact investment, according to the latest figure1 increased by 3.1% over the previous quarter.
