Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, how much funding his Department has (a) budgeted for and (b) spent on software updates to legacy computer systems in each of the last three financial years.

Answered by Gareth Davies - Shadow Minister (Business and Trade)

The Department has incurred some costs in relation to software updates to legacy computer systems; however, this information is not readily available, and could only be provided at disproportionate cost.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, with reference to the Office for Budget Responsibility publication entitled Economic and fiscal outlook, published in March 2023, what the cash value is associated with the 6.6 per cent fall in exports in 2023 referenced in that document.
