- 13,900 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 109,873 - 3,612 added in the past 24hrs)
Chris Packham, Ruth Tingay and Mark Avery (Wild Justice) believe that driven grouse shooting is bad for people, the environment and wildlife. People; we think grouse shooting is economically insignificant when contrasted with other real and potential uses of the UK’s extensive uplands.

(Estimated Final Signatures: 13,295 - 266 added in the past 24hrs)
We are calling on the government to integrate comprehensive food, farming, and sustainability education into the national curriculum, making these subjects core to students’ learning from early years through secondary school.

(Estimated Final Signatures: 9,571 - 186 added in the past 24hrs)
Dog owners to face penalties proportionate to the incident if their dog causes a nuisance to, terrorises or attacks a horse when in public.
Introduce a leash law for dogs when in the presence of horses to reduce incidents and injuries for the horses, horse riders, dogs and wider public.
Ban non-stun slaughter in the UK
- 840 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 7,611 - 636 added in the past 24hrs)
In modern society, we believe more consideration needs to be given to animal welfare and how livestock is treated and culled.
We believe non-stun slaughter is barbaric and doesn't fit in with our culture and modern-day values and should be banned, as some EU nations have done.
Reduce time & improve conditions for guinea-pigs in quarantine after entering UK
- 62 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 492 - 23 added in the past 24hrs)
We urge the Government to revise guinea-pig quarantine from non-EU countries, reducing it from 4 months to 1 due to low rabies risk. We also request indoor facilities with proper hideaways to ensure their comfort and well-being, as current conditions can cause stress and health issues.
Stop breed-specific legislation and euthanising banned dogs.
- 42 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 368 - 16 added in the past 24hrs)
We want to put a stop to banning dog breeds. We think only owners should be held accountable for their dogs. We do not want dogs to be euthanised. We think it is up to the owner to get training for their dog and take proper care of it.
Ban Food Allergy Waivers
- 36 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 359 - 11 added in the past 24hrs)
There are reports that food businesses sometimes ask people with allergies or intolerances to sign waivers. We think this is wrong and unfair. We think food business' should take responsibility for protecting their customers rather than allow themselves to blame the customer if something goes wrong.
Only allow alcohol to be sold in pubs and in wine stores between certain times
- 47 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 342 - 5 added in the past 24hrs)
I believe alcohol should:
1) only be sold in pubs
2) only be sold in wine stores between certain times
PETA, an organisation that is meant to be dedicated to protecting animals, has proposed to the UK government that it should add Staffordshire Bull Terriers to the dangerous dogs act, effectively banning them outright. Breed Specific Legislation is not the solution to the problem of dog attacks.

GBGB figures show 1,003 dogs were killed and 4,837 were injured as a direct result of greyhound racing in 2017 alone. These figures could be grossly underestimated because the GBGB are not independently audited. Dogs can be legally killed on economic grounds and not necessarily by a vet.
