Martin Gerard McTague, OBE, having been created Baron McTague, of Heighington in the County of Durham, was introduced and made the solemn affirmation, supported by Baroness Armstrong of Hill Top and Lord Wilson of Sedgefield, and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.
