Sir Michael Bayldon Barber, Knight, having been created Baron Barber of Chittlehampton, of Chittlehampton in the County of Devon, was introduced and took the oath, supported by Baroness Chapman of Darlington and Baroness Hunter of Auchenreoch, and signed an undertaking to abide by the Code of Conduct.
