Section 19(1) of the Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Act 2011 requires the Secretary of State to report to Parliament as soon as reasonably practicable after the end of every relevant three-month period on the exercise of their TPIM powers under the Act during that period. On 3 December 2024, the Secretary of State voluntarily agreed to quash and remake a TPIM against one individual.
The TPIM review group keeps every TPIM notice under regular and formal review. TRG meetings were convened on 13, 18 and 20 February 2025.
