Implementation of the Common Commercial Policy
That this House takes note of European Union Document No. 11762/11, a draft Regulation amending certain Regulations relating to the common commercial policy as regards the granting of delegated powers for the adoption of certain measures; supports the Government’s view that power is delegated to the Commission in a way which ensures an appropriate balance remains between the roles of the EU institutions; and further supports the Government’s aim to ensure that urgency provisions are justified and that delegated powers are granted for fixed periods.—(Anne Milton.)
