Audit Policy
That this House takes note of European Union Document No. 15274/10 and Addendum, relating to a Commission Green Paper on Audit Policy—Lessons from the Crisis; and supports the Government’s approach to work closely with the European Commission to deliver an effective framework for audit as part of a corporate governance regime and to promote national solutions to these issues, where appropriate, rather than seeking legislation at EU level.—(Jeremy Wright.)
