SI explanatory text Section 6 of the Northern Ireland (Executive Formation etc) Act 2022 provides for appointment functions of Northern Ireland Ministers, in respect of a list of specified offices, to be exercised by a Minister of the Crown during the current period in which there is no Executive in Northern Ireland. Section 6 also permits further offices to be added to the list of specified offices by regulations.
