Ban the importation of animal fur into the UK - Final Signatures: 11,431

The UK government has already limited the importation of animal fur into the UK by Council Regulation (EEC) No 3254/91, however certain animal fur can still be imported, some from countries with poor animal welfare rights. The government should ban the importation of ALL animal fur into the UK.

The UK strongly opposes the hunting of cetaceans and is committed to upholding high animal welfare standards in its trade relationships. We continue to urge the Faroe Islands to stop cetacean hunts.

A hard copy paper trace must go from importer to exporter, to port of entry, back to exporter, and back to the port with the goods on entry to UK.
