We estimate the population of Non British / Irish / EU citizens in UK and ROI is over 3% of the total population.

The UK Government should initiate discussions for a reciprocal legal arrangement to allow residents of UK and ROI to travel within the CTA for short stay and tourism without the need for a visa. This could increase the tourism potential, airport transit, ease of travel and benefit local business in tourism and the travel industry. The British-Irish visa scheme helps to foster tourism in both countries, but we estimate (as per UK and ROI census) over 3.8% of residents within both countries still face a complex system of requiring a VISA to travel within the CTA for tourism.
