Many families are struggling to put food on the table. There is also a continued drive to try and encourage people to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables for a healthier diet, which in turn can help improve individual health, and reduce health problems and additional strain on the NHS.

So isn't it about time that the Government took action to help end food poverty and to enable ordinary citizens to pick their own free healthy fruit in their own neighbourhood to enable these health benefits?
