The Government is responsible for people's lives. It is also responsible for the UK's healthcare system. As the healthcare system is now able to administer a drug which can enable some cancer patients to live better lives (PARP inhibitors), with fewer and less severe side effects than chemotherapy, it is the Government's responsibility to ensure access to these for all who need it, whenever they need it, regardless of its cost.
