Decimalisation came at the cost of a convenient system for the common citizen. The 240p pound was a Highly Composite Number, which allowed for a multitude of avenues to split it, unlike the 100p.
Returning to £sd will allow for greater convenience, easier sharing, and restore British history.
The current methods of funding Public Services through taxation, borrowing & profits from the Public Sector limit the UK Government’s ability to improve Public Services and Living Standards. If the UK Government didn't have limited finance available to it, it could be capable of greater investment.
Tax rebate for those who worked during the pandemic in their place of work

I want the Government to arrange a tax rebate for those who had to go into work during the pandemic; those of us who were not furloughed and could not work from home due to the nature of our jobs.
Allow higher education fees and student loans to be paid via salary sacrifice

We want the Government to allow people to pay higher education fees and student loans through salary sacrifice, so that people do not have to pay income tax or National Insurance on the portion of their income used to make these payments.

The Government should abolish income tax but not national insurance contributions. We pay tax through VAT, tariff, fuel duty, national insurance, road tax, car insurance, we pretty much pay tax through everything. On top of that they are also increasing national insurance.
Make finance costs on rental properties an allowed expense

I want the Government to reverse the new National Insurance increase for key workers who put their life on the line during the pandemic. Instead these key workers should only have to pay the same rate of National Insurance as prior to the recent increase.
Provide additional support to the events industry during the COVID outbreak

The events industry needs to know it is going to be supported through disruption caused by COVID, especially now the Omicron variant has led to mass cancellations. This must include payment breaks for repaying Government loans, the reinstatement of the furlough scheme, and additional funding grants.
