- 50,850 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 51,062 - 8 added in the past 24hrs)
This petition is calling for routine Ofsted inspections to be paused so that the recommendations of the Beyond Ofsted inquiry can be implemented, moving to a system of self-evaluation by schools, supported by external school improvement partners, and a more limited role for Ofsted.

(Estimated Final Signatures: 37,630 - 158 added in the past 24hrs)
I have many concerns regarding the use of mobile phones that can access photographs and social media for children under 16. I believe there are too many safeguarding concerns, exploitation, cyber bullying and group trolling that can be mentally damaging children's well being.

Require CCTV cameras on school transport for kids with special educational needs
- 16,222 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 16,285 - 5 added in the past 24hrs)
Children with special educational needs are often transported to school via transport arranged through the council. We want cameras onboard to help ensure the safety of those onboard, and allow for the review of incidents involving students who may not be able to speak, report, or defend themselves.

- 14,896 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 15,270 - 29 added in the past 24hrs)
Over the past 2 years (Sept ‘21–‘23), inflation (RPIX) has been 21%. But max Student Loans in England rose by just 5.2%, leaving students up to £1,500/year worse off (real terms). The government must increase loans to catch up with inflation, or we fear many students won’t be able to survive at uni.

- 14,667 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 14,824 - 2 added in the past 24hrs)
We believe the UK Government's policy requiring five-year residency for BN(O) visa holders for home fee status for tuition is unfair, and that home fee status should be available after 3 years continuous stay in the UK.

- 8,753 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 14,463 - 53 added in the past 24hrs)
Martial Arts is a popular sport for children. Yet dedicated, passionate, talented students can no longer use them for GCSE. I think Martial Arts are wholly inclusive, appeal to all genders, all ethnic backgrounds and children with SEN. They can help promote fitness, self-discipline and respect.
Require local authorities to fund school transport for disabled 16-18 year olds
- 1,145 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 6,996 - 67 added in the past 24hrs)
We think that children with disabilities should be entitled to free transport to school. Change legislation so that 16 to 18 year old disabled children are treated the same way as 5 to 16 year old disabled children with regard to school transport.
Allow SEND children to be taken out of school once a year without penalty
- 1,624 Signatures
(Estimated Final Signatures: 6,395 - 27 added in the past 24hrs)
We want the Government to make it so parents of SEND children can take their child out of school once a year without facing any penalty. This would enable parents to take SEND children on holiday outside of school holidays, when everyone being on holiday can be overwhelming.
Allow students to be taken out of school for two weeks a year without penalty

(Estimated Final Signatures: 5,624 - 434 added in the past 24hrs)
Families face school fines for taking their children out of school to go on affordable holidays. This can be a particular issue for low-income families, and families with children that have additional needs, who want or need to avoid busier and more expensive periods.
