Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what is the latest economic case for HS2; and whether this has altered since the High Speed Rail (London — West Midlands) Act 2017 received Royal Assent.

The latest economic case for HS2 is the High Speed Two Phase Two Economic Case, published in July 2017. The next economic case is planned to be published in 2019 as part of the Full Business Case for Phase One.
