Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they will take to introduce the Innovative Medicines Fund.
This question was answered on 21st June 2022
The Innovative Medicines Fund for non-cancer medicines recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence for managed access was launched in June 2022.
The Fund will support early access to the most promising new medicines for National Health Service patients while further evidence is collected to address clinical uncertainty.
