Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine on the (1) humanitarian, and (2) security, situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The UK Government recognises that Russia's unprovoked and needless attack on Ukraine is generating significant pressures for neighbouring countries and regions. At this stage, we have made no specific assessment of the impact on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. We reiterate our call on the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to engage in substantive discussions with the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe Minsk Group to secure a peaceful settlement to the conflict.
