Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what progress has been made by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in developing a strong brand image to symbolise food which has been grown and produced in the UK.

The Food is GREAT brand image is used on communications and marketing activity here and abroad to promote produce from the UK food and drink industry. The campaign underpins Government’s work to showcase the depth, breadth and quality of UK food and drink abroad. In 2017, UK food, feed and drink exports were worth £22 billion. This represents an increase of 7.7% from 2016.
