Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they have made to the Palestinian National Authority regarding the reported banning of a new women's television station in Gaza by the Ministry of Information there.

This question was answered on 6th March 2018
We have not discussed this issue with the Palestinian Authority (PA). The UK does not have any contact with the administration in Gaza. The UK retains a policy of no contact with Hamas in its entirety. We encourage the PA to fully resume its government functions in Gaza, and ensure that the reconciliation process is compliant with the Quartet Principles.
