Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the conditions any Palestinian children who are being detained in Israel without a conviction are living in during the COVID-19 pandemic; and what steps they are taking to ensure that any such children are treated in line with international law and agreements.

We remain concerned by the impact that COVID-19 could have on Palestinian detainees, including children. We continue to make representations to the Israeli authorities to take steps which will reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading in prisons whilst simultaneously respecting fundamental human rights.
