Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what is their projection of the number of house renters there will be in London in the next 10 years.
This question was answered on 20th November 2017
The department does not make projections of the number of renters there might be in the future.
However the Government acknowledges that whether for sale or rent, housing is increasingly unaffordable. The Government is committed to building more homes and has set out its plans to do so in the Housing White Paper.
